Direct Manipulation Puppets: Construction and Manipulation Teatro 4 Elementos
This workshop aims to train participants in the construction and manipulation of table puppets. The work will be done in different phases of a puppet structure: body building, manufacturing clothing, the design and construction of the various parts, the concept and realization of a character with manipulation and movement.All concepts are based on theater Bunraku, a technique of traditional Japanese puppet, whose origins date back to the second half of the seventeenth century and whose geographic center is the city of Osaka .Each participant will make a puppet with moving joints and almost real, using commands to move each part individually and will practice the different techniques of manipulating puppets table, reflecting on the concept and animation of objects and puppets and marionettes on stage.Trainer: Alfredo Muzaber | Teatro 4 ElementosSchedule:November 8th , 6th Tuesday , 17h- 20hNovember 9 , Saturday from 10h to 13h and from 14h to 19hNovember 10 , Sunday , from 10h to 13h and from 14h to 19hPrice : 80 €Registration through museudamarioneta@egeac.pt or telephone 21 394 28 10
