Renzo Antonello and his exhibitionEXHIBITION MASKS

He lives in Brendola (Vicenza). After having received his degree from the Academia di Belle Arti di Vinezia in 1981, he began to devote himself to the creation of leather masks, specializing in the prodution of masks connected to the tradition of the Commedia dell'Arte. Since 1993 he has taught Mask Technique and worked with some of the famous italian and European theatres: Piccolo Teatro di Milano, directed by Strshler; Teatro Olímpico di Vicenza; Instituto del Teatro di Barcelona; Teatertreffen Deutschspraschiger Schauspielsstudenten.
He has a very extensive collection. His catalogue includes tradition masks, neutral and larval masks, and those from the Commedia dell'Arte, witch are in general much appreciated by the compagnies with witch Renzo has worked. Other masks has been inspired by the world of fables and some by the works of famous artists such as Leonardo and Bosch.
